We are not a skincare brand that discovered a peptide. We are a delivery company that picked one molecule and refused to compromise on how it arrives. Everything below explains that choice — what we make, what we print on the box, and the things we will not do to sell more of it.

1. The problem we chose to work on

GHK-Cu — copper tripeptide-1 — was isolated from human plasma by Dr. Loren Pickart in 1973. It is one of the most studied regenerative peptides in the literature. That was never the hard part.

The hard part is that your skin is built to keep things out. The stratum corneum is a hydrophobic barrier, and GHK-Cu is a strongly water-loving molecule at 340.4 daltons. Under the 500-Dalton rule the two repel each other, and whatever does linger on the surface is dismantled by scavenger enzymes before it reaches living tissue.

Which means the industry has spent decades competing on the wrong axis. Higher concentrations, better marketing, more exotic supporting actives — all of it applied to a molecule that was never getting past the front door. A stronger serum that cannot cross the barrier is still a serum that cannot cross the barrier.

So we stopped working on the recipe and started working on the route.

2. What we make

PeptideScience builds mechanical delivery systems for a single molecule. Two products, one idea:

3. Why ours is clear, and theirs is blue

Genuine GHK-Cu carries a faint natural tint from the copper complex itself. It is not a vivid blue. The vivid blue you have seen on marketplace shelves is, in a great many cases, added dye — because a striking colour photographs well and reassures a buyer who has no other way to check what they bought.

We refused to dye ours. Our formulations are clear and undyed, which occasionally costs us a sale to a shopper who has been trained to expect blue. We consider that an acceptable price. The colour of a peptide should be a consequence of its chemistry, not a marketing decision.

4. The specification is printed, not implied

Concentration claims are easy to make in copy and hard to verify. So we put the specification on the box: GHK-Cu 3000 ppm · ~2,600 cones · 340.4 Da · LOT. Every unit is traceable to its production batch.

We would rather be judged on numbers you can check against the carton in your hand than on adjectives you cannot check at all.

5. What we will not do

These are commitments about our own conduct, and they are the reason some of our pages look less aggressive than our competitors':

  • No fake scarcity. We cast in small clean-room batches, so products do sell out and restock. We do not run countdown timers that reset when you reload the page, and we do not invent stock counts.
  • No billing traps. If you start a subscription you can pause, skip, or cancel it in one click from your account. Never a phone call, never a retention script, never a form that has to be posted.
  • No disease claims. Our products are cosmetic. We will not tell you they treat, cure, or prevent a medical condition, and we will not imply it with a wink either.
  • No borrowed authority. We cite published work by name and year so you can go read it. We do not gesture vaguely at "studies" or "science" and hope you take it on faith.

6. On results

Biology has a timeline and it is not the one marketing prefers. Skin remodelling is measured in weeks and months, not days, and it varies substantially between individuals — with age, baseline condition, consistency of use, and factors nobody controls. Individual results vary and are not typical.

That is also why our guarantees are long rather than short: 100 days on the patch, 120 days on the kit. A guarantee that expires before the biology could reasonably have happened is not a guarantee, it is a return window disguised as confidence.

7. Talking to us
